Shaelyn was a Brinkley-Lane Scholar at East Carolina University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. After graduation, Shaelyn moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she taught 5th-grade science. Following her first year of teaching, Shaelyn began an internship at Raleigh Wealth Solutions and quickly developed a deep passion for the business. This led her to make a career change, and in July 2023, she joined Raleigh Wealth Solutions full-time. She is eager to leverage her passion for helping others to serve Raleigh Wealth families, recognizing that the work we do really does make an impact!

Shaelyn currently holds her North Carolina life and accident/health insurance licenses and holds her Series 63, Series 65, and Series 7 securities exams in good standing. She is also a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP® designation) and is pursuing her Master of Business Administration at the University of North Carolina.

Shaelyn is known for her skills in event planning, problem solving, and data-driven decision making. While she is focused and disciplined, she also brings a very personable approach to everything she does at Raleigh Wealth Solutions. She enjoys making a meaningful and life-changing difference for the families we serve.

Outside of work, Shaelyn enjoys weightlifting and training for and participating in HYROX races. An avid reader, she particularly enjoys fantasy novels, including works by Sarah J. Maas and the Fourth Wing series by Rebecca Yarros. She is also a fan of podcasts, with The Diary of a CEO being her favorite. Travel is a favorite pastime of Shaelyn’s. She studied abroad in Australia and New Zealand, has traveled to Greece and Rome, and considers Hawaii her favorite domestic travel destination.
