Alyssa Baucom is excited to be working with Raleigh Wealth Solutions as the Client Engagement Coordinator. Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Alyssa moved to North Carolina as a child and grew up in Fayetteville. She attended East Carolina University as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Education, concentrating in percussion. After graduating, she worked as an Assistant Band Director and English Teacher in Rocky Mount, NC for six years. In her English classroom, she realized her newly-rekindled love for the written word and decided to earn a Master of Arts in British and American Literature at NC State.

After a few stints in various fields from education to law, Alyssa found her way to the world of finance, joining Raleigh Wealth Solutions in 2025. Hers is typically the first face you’ll see as you enter our office. She is always happy to chat and joke with Raleigh Wealth Solutions’ select families!

When not at work, Alyssa enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and playing a variety of musical instruments. She and her husband enjoy recording music in their home “studio.” Alyssa is also a HUGE sports fan. You can find her (along with her husband and cat) cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes (GO CANES!), the Atlanta Braves, and local college teams, most specifically ECU, NC State, and UNC football, basketball, and baseball. If it’s a sport, she’ll watch it. Just ask Olympic curling.
